The CIVCO Positioning Arm provides an opportunity to better position and stabilize ultrasound equipment, instruments and patients in the imaging environment. The unique design of the positioning arms offers complete flexibility and articulation in every direction. Unlike anything else in the market, the CIVCO Positioning Arms provide stable and accurate positioning of instruments in a fixed location for extended periods of time, reducing repetitive stress injuries. The arm allows the physician’s hands to be free to more efficiently perform treatment. The positioning arms are designed for use with either a table or rail adapter. Additionally, the arms feature a base handle, with a free-form body, easy-to-use levers and a Quick-Mount™ for accessory attachments. In locked mode, the positioning arms are engineered to withhold a maximum of 12lbs. (standard arm) and 6lbs (extended length arm). No tools are required for assembly.

Once attached to either a rail or table adapter, the arms accept a variety of tools including: an ultrasound transducer holder, multi-purpose instrument holder or patient arm supports. All attachment accessories are engineered to connect to the positioning arms using the proprietary Quick-Mount attachment. Quick-Mount functions by simply loosening a knob and inserting the accessory attachment into the arm and tightening the knob to secure placement. The positioning arms are sold non-sterile and can be cleaned by wiping all surfaces with germicidal wipes or alcohol. Sterile positioning arm covers are available for use in a sterile environment.
