CIVCO Promotes Individual Business Units through Upcoming Website Restructuring
KALONA, Iowa – In conjunction with a website restructuring, CIVCO Medical Solutions is officially introducing its two business units. Over the past decade, CIVCO has made multiple acquisitions which have developed into two distinct business units within the company. CIVCO’s corporate headquarters remains in Kalona, Iowa, USA, where the Multi-Modality Imaging unit also is based. CIVCO’s Radiation Oncology business unit operates largely out of Orange City, Iowa, USA. As divisions of one company, both units are committed to increasing patient throughput and clinical productivity while improving patient outcomes.
CIVCO Medical Solutions offers cutting-edge medical technology to a diverse group of medical professionals. The Multi-Modality Imaging (MMI) unit designs and manufactures accessories for use in diagnostic and therapeutic imaging and interventional procedures, with a strong focus on ultrasound. MMI’s products range from infection control products including a wide range of ultrasound and CT covers to device guidance, positioning and electromagnetic needle tracking. CIVCO’s Radiation Oncology division designs and manufactures products for radiation oncology treatment, including basic patient positioning equipment as well as high technology robotic motion management and advanced patient positioning for SBRT. Both business units strive to offer patients and clinicians the newest and best technology available to improve patient care.
CIVCO recognizes that the customer base for each business unit is different, and as such, the company is readying a website update that will create new homepages specifying Multi-Modality Imaging and Radiation Oncology. Customers will be able to clearly and easily reach the relevant business unit for their needs through the main CIVCO homepage. The company plans to launch the website update in the first quarter of 2011.
